We're now closing in on over 530 days since Pete Dunne defeated Tyler Bate back in May of last year for the WWE United Kingdom Championship in an amazing match! Pete Dunne has done tremendous for himself since then. Competing in some kick ass matches in NXT, elsewhere and even had a match on Monday Night Raw! But it's now the end of 2018 now about to enter in 2019 and Pete Dunne is still the UK Champion...
Not to mention Pete Dunne is only the 2nd UK Champion in history. The title itself doesn't have nearly any lineage to honestly carry prestige of a lengthy title reign. Pete Dunne is now 200 days away from closing in on Okada level territory with his title reign. Kazuchika Okada with a shear 720 day reign as IWGP Heavyweight Champion but there's a HUGE difference between the two titles, reigns, and men so i won't even bring Okada into this conversation.
But in this video, i will put in to perspective on why Pete Dunne though he is an uber talented competitor, is probably best dropping the UK Championship soon. By the end, you'll either fall on two sides of the spectrum. You either want him to drop it, or you want the neverending reign to continue.
Either way, voice your thoughts down below.
